Photo Card Café is an online card company that specializes in photo greeting cards including photo birth announcements, wedding save-the-dates party invitations, and other holiday-themed photo cards. The company is headquartered in Edmond, OK with another office in Austin, TX.
Photo Card Café began its web presence in June 2006. Sara Watterson, president and CEO, created the site from the ground up having a background in web and print design. With an extremely successful 2006, Watterson decided to bring on longtime friend Sara Hejl of Austin, Texas as her CMO in 2007. Having a background in advertising and PR, Hejl has helped Photo Card Café to expanded considerably in 2007 and 2008.[1]
After experiencing tremendous start-up growth in 2007,[2][3] Photo Card Café continues to grow, doubling in sales revenue from 2007 to 2008.[4]
